We look forward to serving you. Dr. Bruce West is a Board Certified gynecologist and Fellow of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecologists with over twenty years experience. He earned his medical degree from the University of Michigan School of Medicine and completed his residency at Wayne State University. He specializes in Minimally Invasive gynecologic surgery. With a keen interest in innovative treatments, Dr. West performs Laparoscopic Supracervical Hysterectomies (LSH) an advanced surgical procedure that is less invasive than traditional open surgery. LSH reduces hospital and post-operative recuperation time. Dr. West also performs surgical and laparascopic vaginal and abdominal hysterectomies, surgery for rectal and vaginal prolapses, endometrial ablations for heavy periods, hystroscopies for abnormal bleeding and provides clinical and surgical care for obstetric and gynecological patients. As an Obstetrician, Dr. West provides comprehensive prenatal care, delivers babies and treats for ectopic pregnancies. For women who are finished having children, Dr. West is trained and certified in Essure permanent birth control, a non-invasive procedure he offers in his office for your comfort and convenience. |
